Dear Families, The K.P.S. PreK/Kindergarten class had a fantastic first day of school!! The children were so ready and excited to be here. One of the projects we did in class was to have the students draw a picture of themselves and then tell how they felt on the first day. This is what they said:
AVA -” I felt good and I was excited. I like playing on the playground”
BENJAMIN – “I felt a little shy and was excited when I came here”
BODHI M. -”I felt a little scared because I didn’t know which people here were”
BODHI J. – “I felt a little bit nervous and a little bit happy”
FINNLEY – ” I felt happy because I like to be at school”
GRACIE -”I felt happy because I was excited to see Carla”
KAIDAN -”I felt kind of happy because I love school. I felt hungry, thirsty and tired”
KAYA - ”I felt excited first and then I felt like it was the same”
KOKO -”I felt sad because I wanted my mama to stay”
MIA – ” I felt happy to see Carla. I felt a little nervous”
RYLAN – “I felt kind of happy. I was kind of scared”
SAMANTHA – “I felt happy because I never went to school for a long time. I really missed everybody”
